Want to present at SMX Next? Now’s the time to submit a pitch!

SMX Next returns online Nov. 18-19, focusing on the changing search landscape and how to prepare for what’s to come in 2026.

Search marketing is changing faster than ever right now.

  • On the SEO side, ranking is being replaced by citations. Organic traffic is being replaced by impressions. Your brand must build love, reputation, and trust. And you must truly understand your target user/customer. Plus, agentic AI is on the horizon.
  • On the PPC side, AI is reshaping paid search quickly – from AI Overviews and AI Mode to Performance Max and AI Max. When it comes to major AI tools, advertisers are navigating a mix of opportunity and risk. These developments are impacting strategy, performance, and trust in automation.

If you’re an enthusiastic search marketer who loves sharing knowledge, please consider submitting a session pitch for SMX Next. We’re looking for subject matter experts to share insights, strategies, and tactics that are working now and will help SEO and PPC marketers prepare to be successful in 2026 and beyond.

Whether you’ve been speaking for years or are just getting started as a speaker and want to teach others what you have learned, please consider submitting a session pitch. We are always looking for new speakers with diverse points of view.

The deadline for SMX Next pitches is Aug. 26.

Here are a few tips for submitting a compelling session proposal:

  • Present an original idea and/or topic not commonly covered at other search events.
  • Include details about what attendees will be able to do better or differently after watching your session.
  • Include a case study or specific examples, and explain how they can be applied in different types of organizations.
  • Be realistic about what you can present in 30 minutes. Going in-depth on a narrow topic is more valuable to the attendee.
  • Provide tangible takeaways and a plan of action.

Please visit this page for more details on how to submit a session idea, or directly to this page to create your profile and submit a session pitch.
